Peace, Love, Unity, Respect.
These are traits that have been associated with the rave scene for many many years, and while most will know the term P.L.U.R. as a rave specific term, our time in the yoyo community has shown us that this is a group of traits that can also be applied to our own little world of yoyoing.
We set off to design a fun yoyo that would exemplify PLUR in the way it looked and performed, and after many hours of experimenting with design attributes and deciding what sort of shape and look would be best, the PLUR was born.
We at KnotCreators are not only yoyoers, but also ravers, and we aimed to bring a little bit of our rave world into the yoyo world with a throw that would play fast, fun, and carefree.
The PLUR took many inspirations from our previous yoyo, the IceWoof, with a larger size, rounded off rims, and stepped shape toward the catch zone, but we also added some extra roundness for comfort during catches, and probably one of our most exciting throwbacks, a true thumb grind lip. The inner ring of the PLUR has a deep curved edge that allows your finger to set into place. This combined with a soft blasted finish means that extra long thumb/inner ring grind tricks are possible, which are super fun!

On top of making this a fun yoyo, we wanted to make this a throw that would be easily accessible to all. The PLUR will be a very affordable throw at well under 50 dollars so we can get these in the hands of as many players as possible!
The PLUR will soon be available with some very cool rave inspired colorways to bring the good vibes, and there may be some Kandi involved down the road as well 😉
